We collect your email address, name, credentials, specialty, and account preferences. When you record a note, the audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and deleted immediately after. Transcriptions and generated notes are stored in your account.
Practiq includes a built-in PHI scrubber that automatically detects and removes potential Protected Health Information from your recordings before processing. However, you should still avoid intentionally including patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or any other identifying information in your recordings. Practiq is a documentation aid — always verify that no PHI is present in your final notes before pasting into your EHR.
We use your data solely to provide the Practiq service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Your clinical notes remain yours — we do not use them for model training or share them with any external party.
